The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the provisional timetable for the Class X and XII public examinations in 2025. The schedule indicates that the Class XII exams are expected to take place from February 1 to February 15, 2025, while the Class X exams are scheduled from March 1 to March 20 of the following year. The board has decided to move up the exam dates by approximately 28 days in 2025 due to increasing temperatures attributed to global warming. This decision was made earlier in the year to ensure student comfort during the exams. The Goa Board aims to wrap up all examinations for students before March 31, with result announcements scheduled to be completed by the end of April. The adjustment in the exam timetable is also aligned with national schedules and is consistent with other central and state boards across the country.
